A forthcoming offshoot of Charleston Wellness Initiative, The Wes Kuhn Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide introductory funding to those interested in beginning a medication-assisted treatment program. Having consultation and first month's fees paid, allows our homeless and unemployed participants time to acclimate to a program while finding financial stability.

This fund honors the memory of Wes Kuhn whose life is the very heartbeat of Charleston Wellness Initiative and who, prior to his progressed sepsis diagnosis and overdose death, sought to pursue an end to heroin use through medication-assisted treatment.
